Description

The YHDC SCT-013-000, is a popular CT (Current Transformer), used for mains current monitoring.

This product provides:

  • Range 100A/50mA
  • Secondary Turns: 2000 (2000:1)
  • Safe and Easy to fit
  • Non-inversive Current/Voltage Out Ratio: 100:0.05 (= 100A/50mA)
  • Opening Size: 13mm x 13mm (0.5″ x 0.5″)
  • Core Material: Ferrite
  • Dielectric Strength: 6000V AC/1min
  • Colour Blue
  • Cable Length, approximately 1M (100cm)
  • Complete with 3.5mm Plug
  • Operating Temperature: -25 to 70°C

Safety

The YHDC SCT-013-000 comes complete with a built in Zener to protect from high voltages.

As a general note, whist the current clamp is non-invaslive and does not connect to any live wires/cables, it must never be open-circuited once installed to a current-carrying conductor.

Part of the non-invasive connection to the live wire/cable, is the secondary circuit which is galvanically isolated from the primary circuit.
